Adelaide has it all. The outdoor shopping streets are always bustling with activity, music, character and are packed with amazing boutiques. The indoor shopping malls are spacious, well designed and have all the department stores and amenities you want to enjoy your shopping experience.

From the outdoor boutiques and spas of King William Road for the ultra-exclusive shopper, to the unique and independent boutiques of Magill Road, there is something for everyone.

Rundle Mall

All shopping trips to Adelaide must start here. With over 700 shops, a fantastic selection of department stores and wonderful little boutiques, Rundle Mall is a place not to miss. The coffee shops and restaurants mean that you can spend your full day wandering around the pedestrian-friendly mall. The character of the Mall dates back to the early 19th Century with many restored Victorian Brick buildings. The buskers and street entertainers make it one of the most enjoyable shopping experiences in the city.

Adelaide Arcade is in the same area. You can have a peaceful coffee inside a 19th century glass greenhouse. The tiles and iron work are reminiscent of the original brick and steelwork. The peace and quiet compared to the hustle and bustle gives you the opportunity to gather yourself before going back into the fray of Rundle Mall.

At the end of Rundle Mall, there are two fascinating sculptures. One is of four pigs, called Horatio, Augusta, Oliver and Truffles. Rubbing their nose will bring you good luck. The Malls Balls are two large shiny spherical objects balanced on top of each other. If you like selfies, those two artworks are the quintessential selfie spots in Rundle Mall.
